Welcome to Samgyup sa Bahay - Subic, a delightful Korean barbecue restaurant nestled in the heart of the Port District at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. Located on the second floor of the Eastern Commercial Complex, this culinary gem is quickly becoming a go-to spot for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic Korean dining experience. With its spacious layout and clean environment, Samgyup sa Bahay offers not just a meal, but a moment to gather and indulge.
As you step inside, the warm ambiance seems to invite you to immerse yourself in a feast of flavors. One of the standout features of the restaurant is the unli samgyup and hot pot offerings, perfect for those who love to explore diverse tastes without breaking the bank. Starting at just 495 pesos, you can indulge in an array of meats, including mouthwatering slices of steak smothered in aromatic rosemary—a favorite among patrons. The additional options, such as unli tempura and seafood for just 100 pesos more, elevate the dining experience to new heights.
However, some reviews suggest that the overall freshness of the ingredients could use a little more attention, particularly the lettuce, which could be replaced with fresher options. Guests like Tine Chez pointed out inconsistencies in the buffet's initial presentation, noting some items appeared dried out. But as the evening progressed and the refills arrived, the quality improved significantly, showcasing the kitchen's commitment to serving up satisfying dishes.
The customer service is another highlight. Attentive and courteous staff, such as Kuya Gadz, enhance the dining experience with their friendliness and eagerness to ensure guests feel welcome. Patrons like Jerome Isaac Martinez and Marita Geronimo have praised the staff's helpfulness, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere.
While there are minor hiccups, like occasional issues with card payments not being accepted, the enthusiastic recommendations from satisfied diners speak volumes about the restaurant's allure. With the Christmas season finding its way into the air—thanks to jolly tunes playing in the background—it seems like the perfect time to gather friends and family for a fulfilling meal at Samgyup sa Bahay.
Whether it’s the aromatic meats that have you returning or the promise of friendly service, Samgyup sa Bahay - Subic is a must-try destination for those who crave a fun and hearty Korean barbecue experience. Prepare yourself to delight in the culinary offerings while enjoying the company and the vibrant atmosphere of this burgeoning food hotspot!

We came around 9:30 ish and I think they were about to close when we showed up. The food on the buffet table was all dried and hard I think from the AC. The first batch of the meat looked like it was all left overs but as the refills come it got better, the steak was newly sliced and the cuts got thicker every time. My only disappointment was the lettuce, I wish they’d serve fresh lettuce and not the old once anymore specially I love my lettuce it was a bid disappointment when I kept eating old lettuce. The place was Clean and I loved that they have a big restroom I just wished they’d have soap and paper towels to dry our hands with.

Went here at around 3pm. The place is spacious at this hour. They offer unli samgyup and hot pot and you can also choose to add unli tempura and seafood with unli premium just add 100 pesos. (See ttached photo) They're already playing Christmas songs coz why not! Kuya Gadz assist us.He was courteous and attentive. The food taste delicious and affordable. You can order unli food starting 495 pesos (without hot pot yet). We didn't get the 10 side dishes as showed in the menu. Better bring cash because sometimes their card reader machine is not working and they don't accept gcash yet. (Hopefully soon) Highly recommended this place. A must try.

Super satisfied with our food! My favorite meat was the one smothered with rosemary, which smells and tastes really good! It was almost always requested at every meat refill. I suggest fellow customers to eat less maki or at least eat slowly, because they really squeezed a lot of rice into making each piece, filling up the tummy quickly!

First of all our Server, Tracy, was excellent! We were having trouble finding a hotel and he went out of his way to help us find a room. The hotel issue was another problem for another time. Anyway food was fresh and great tasting. All the staff was very helpful toward my food allergy and we will definitely return. All you can eat and very fast service. Only down fall is place is a bit smoky but this is a grill that the table type restaurant so hard to fix that. A bit noisy but not fault of business. Next table was a large party and very loud! Highly recommend you visit here!
